Dear Forum members,

Please help me with my below confusion. This is Ragu from India. I have been looking to migrate to Canada either through studies or FSW immigration process. But I am not sure which one to choose by. Here below is my profile;

B.Tech in Textile Technology (2008 pass out)
Correspondence MBA in Supply Chain Management (2011 pass out)
Academic IELTS with 6.5 (no less than 6)

I have total of 7 years Full time work experience (Out of which 4+ years work exp in Procurement & Supply chain operations).

I have been looking for supply chain master programs (Msc/MBA) in Canada but most of them requires GMAT and its tuition fees also pretty higher.

Rather invest so much money in studies and wait for 2 years, many of my friends suggest me to go for Canada immigration under express entry. I am eligible for applying immigration and I would like to try this process. However I have below doubts in immigration steps;

1. Once our profile enters in to ITA pool, we need to get the full time Job offer to move for next level in PR process. How possibly we could get a job in Canada by sitting in India?.

2. What are the job search methods to do find the job in Canada?. Does employers in Canada directly contact us once we are in the Pool if they have a requirement?.

Please advise its wise to go with study option or immigration process to Canada?

Thanks
Ragu

This is not correct. You can get the PR itself without a job offer if you have enough points based on other factors such as age, education, IELTS scores etc. Having a job offer only pushes your scores up. It is not mandatory.

2. What are the job search methods to do find the job in Canada?. Does employers in Canada directly contact us once we are in the Pool if they have a requirement?. When you create the EE profile you also have to register in the Jobbank where you can see jobs posted by employers. And you can also search for jobs normally through other avenues.

Please advise its wise to go with study option or immigration process to Canada?
