Dear Friends
I am in express entry pool. However, my crs is 350 only. I have master degree, and with 10 years of experience in NOC 2171. My ielts score is 6.5 [ CLB 7].
My chances are very narrow. But still hoping for a PNP . Only way to increase my score is is IELTs , but want to see any other options. I have been trying for the past 4 years and took ielts 4 times with coaching.

Also, I have explored RINP, but the job listings are mostly trade related jobs.

I have also tried for study permit. But most of the consultancies told that I cant go for diploma, or pg diploma as I already hold Master degree and suggested ph.d option.

Any suggestions please.

thanks in advance.

I would focus on increasing your IELTS score. This is the easiest way to increase your points.

In terms of a study permit, you would need to go with at least a PG diploma to have a chance of approval and your studies in Canada need to make sense based on your previous education and work experience. Studying in Canada still won't guarantee PR and you'll also lose further points due to age in the process. If you go the study permit route, make sure the program is 2 years full time so that you qualify for a 3 year PGWP.

Dear Scylla
Thanks for ur inputs.
I have checked consultancies and they said not to go for pg diploma as there are chances of visa rejection bcos I already hold Master degree. For 2 year master degree also there are chances of rejection. They suggested only option i.e ph.d if I wish to gonfor studies.

Coming to improving ielts, even if i get clb 9 i will be arpund 430. Which is far less than current draw i.e 478. I will have to wait i pool as usual and cannot completely rely on pnp draws.

Situation is bit complex and seeking some advice.
Thanks in advance.
