i am planning to apply as a FSW, i am single (30 years old) and have met the minimum requirements for the FSW program. my whole family are permanent residents and they are all in canada. being the last remaining family member, will it help my case if i send a letter of appeal / consideration to the visa office in my country of residence stating this fact once they request me to submit supporting documents (ie bank documents, certifications and clearances)? i have read in the application guide that humanitarian and compassionate ground appeals should not be sent to the CIO.
i really want to move to canada to be reunited with my family - can anybody give me an advice on how i should handle my case?
also, is it possible to stay in canada as a tourist while processing my application as a FSW - having no family left in my country?
