Just to share my experience, the 2 self addressed stickers I placed in my application wasn't even used.
I received my response via email.

Although my application was filed before June 26..... dunno if that matters.

hi ghing, july4 and other forum members na same timeline ko (August 2nd AOR but no MR yet). i sent an inquiry to the CEM last monday and here is a copy of my email and their reply... ambivalent ang reaction ko after i read the reply. buti na lang mabilis ang response ng CEM everytime I inquire about the status of my application kaya kahit papaano alam ko na na-review na nila yung application ko.

Dear Applicant:

We have received your documents submitted on August 9, 2010.

With regard to your email of January 24, 2011, we are unable to provide a specific schedule
as to when your medical instructions will be sent to you.

We appreciate your understanding while you wait to hear more from us.

I am ************, an applicant under the FSW program with file # ***********. I submitted my documents to the Canadian Embassy last August and was issued an acknowledgment receipt that was dated August 13, 2010. After 4 months, my ECAS status changed to 'in process', with the information that my application was reviewed and is being processed starting December 7, 2010. However, I haven't received any correspondence regarding my application and would like to know the current standing of my papers. Thank you for the patience and consideration that you have extended to me.

Your reply gave me a brighter perspective and for that, thank you rhmanalili. What do you mean by 1st AOR / 2nd AOR?
Meaning.... all i have to do is wait peacefully for any email communication, instructions from CIO? Not from VO Manila??

It is one of the lists (#8) in Document Checklist-Centralized Intake Office (CIO) for Permanent Residence - FSWC (After June 25, 2010 Applicants)
I am more anxious tho' because many applicants have enjoyed the fast processing timeline and mine took 3 months without AOR. I also read one of the concerns that she also experienced wrong encoding instead of Manila, Philippines... she filled up Philippines only. Her documents were returned and she just re-send her application package.

I went to the bank this morning and asked if my BD is already encashed. Up to this day not yet.

hi....its the first AOR ... the one from CIO...although the new process now already excludes this step.

i sent an inquiry and the embassy replied that my application is still on queu and have to wait... my NOC is 0213

im a bit worried about my papers. the only hope im holding on rightnow is the confirmation of the back that the manager's check i issued for the payment of my family members were already encashed by the VO.

How long shall we wait then? my NOC is 1111 what's yours?

High school or college? Malapit na march, tapusin nyo na suggestion lang po

I suggest pag tapusin mo na anak mo dyan sa pinas til april na lang nman ata ang schooling tsaka kayo mag land. 2-3 mos na lang nman tapos na schooling nya.
