Dear, you have to complete necessary formalities once baby is born, your wife and baby will undergo medical and also you will have to send copy of birth certificate along with passport copy of baby and other updated forms. Once you submit these documents to VO then they will send you medical request for your wife and baby. This is the procedure, Medical center from where you get the medical done will inform your VO that medical of your wife can not be undertaken due to her pregnancy. It is better that you also write the same to your VO and then follow his instructions.

I have finished medical on 9.4.15. My pregnant wife's medical also completed ( done xray using double shield). So my question is will the PR visa will be issued to me as per normal process or my PR visa will be delayed until my wife delivers a baby???

Dear if Medicals for both of you have been done then it's straightforward case, you both will get visa as normal applicants. Try to have baby delivery in Canada so that young champ could get citizenship straightaway.

can we mail the visa office to delay our pr till my new born baby?
You have two options:

1. Land before the baby is born and have the baby in Canada. It will be a citizen at birth. This is the easiest route in my opinion.

2. Inform the VO of your pregnancy and ask the add the baby to your application after the birth. This means you will need to supply the baby's birth certificate and passport (you will need to apply for one when the baby is born). You'll also need to supply a new generic application form and new family information and background declaration forms for your wife, the processing fee for your baby and your baby will need a medical. You'll need to provide updated proof of funds for your larger family. Depending on when your PCCs were issued, they may be expired and you may need to get new ones. If you choose this route, please be aware that visas expire 1 year from the date of the principal applicant's medicals and this date CANNOT be extended. So if your medicals were on 9 April 2015 your visas will expire on 8 or 9 April 2016 (I'm not sure which), or on the date the passport expires if that is sooner. Depending on how far along the pregnancy is, this may leave you very little time to land after the birth. Alternatively, you may be able to re-do your medicals after the birth and give yourselves more time. I'm not sure if you can request this, or if the VO may demand it if it appears that time is running out.

Either way, don't allow your visas to be issued until you have a 100% sure plan of what you are going to do. Once visas are issued your application is closed and cannot be re-opened to add a baby born outside Canada. You CANNOT land with a baby that doesn't have a visa. Also, make SURE you can land before your visas expire. If your visas expire unused you CANNOT land and you will have to re-start your entire application process according to the rules in place at that time (EE or whatever the rule is at that time, not FSW). Once issued, the validity of visas CANNOT be extended.

To me #1 seems far easier. Good luck and congratulations on the pregnancy.

You will have to sponsor your new child for PR once the baby is born. In order to sponsor the baby for PR, either you or your wife must be in Canada and you must remain in Canada while the application is being processed. You can try applying for a TRV so that all of you can travel to Canada together and apply for PR once all of you arrive. If the TRV is not approved then you can try applying for a TRP. If the TRP is also refused, then one of you will have to travel to Canada ahead of the rest of the family to submit the PR application from there and wait out the processing of the application from within Canada.
