URGENT HELP!!!!!!

Hello Seniors,

Now only I realize that in the schedule 3 form I put "Jn Design Engineer-ASIC/FPGA" as the primary occupation under NOC 2147. Please advise me whether I need to send a new application with updated schedule 3 with Primary occupation as "Computer engineers"

Dude, i don't think so there would be problem because 2147(Computer Engineer) contains lots of designations while reading the elaboration of this NOC. More than 40 designation mentioned in list of this noc like Telecom specialist or network engineer or satelite engineer. if you selected anyone from this list with correct NOC code 2147 then inshaAllah no worries.
But for more clarification pls take help other experts seniors.

So you mean to say that in 12a if I mention NOC Code as 2147 and in Primary Occupation Jn Design Engineer there wont be any problem? and I dont have to mention as Computer Engineers there, In the return app list I can see that for forum member ICJ the application was rejected because "User made a mistake of putting his primary occupation as Lecturer in Schedule 3 form"

01. Yes. exactly, there won't be any problem. I am quoting official CIC source website here:

Go to Pg. 38, or scroll to almost the end of the page and read section: "Schedule 3: Economic Classes – Federal Skilled Worker Class (IMM 0008-Schedule 3)" guidelines. It is CLEARLY STATED that:

"Question 12
Your work experience: a) Identify the primary occupation and corresponding four-digit NOC 2011 code that will be used to assess whether your application meets the minimum program requirements. Choose one occupation from the list you provide in your answer to 12b)."

What I am trying to say is that this occupation that you state in both 12a and 12b should CORRESPOND to one of the 29 eligible occupations.

02. It is very common sense and logical that a forum member's app was returned "because user put Lecturer as primary occupation". Please reason out yourself, how does Lecturer correspond to any occupation in the list of 29 occupations? None of the job responsibilities, main duties and employment requirements of a lecturer correspond even remotely with an engineer. And this user is 2243 - Industrial instrument technicians and mechanics - NOTHING TO DO WITH LECTURER. So its a mistake on the user's part.

if you have put Computer engineer in 12.a and listed as Jn Design Engineer-ASIC/FPGA in 12.b, it should be ok i guess. Occupation listed should have relevant main duties that is close to 2147 NOC
Apart from that they would cross check your experience letter and roles/responsibilities.

Yes there is no problem, even you can put three, if you work in three areas. But remember, you will get points only on the years you have worked in the NOC you are applying.

Its better to apply for a least hot NOC between 0211 & 2132

Another way is .. use google app (if you don't have a Gmail account, create a free one), you can call any number in U.S and Canada for free.
