I just called them, the representative told me to email them them if it is more than 6 weeks and gave me Citizenship_and_Immigration_Canada @ cic.gc.ca email address. he said they don't have access to the files. Is he bull *censored word*ting me?

Are you sure about this email? Sent a mail to this address and it returned. Please check.

What did you ask to get your UCI ? ?

I just waited till the call was transferred to an agent..Then I told them I am calling from India and it's a long distance call and please help me to search in your database.Agent asked me my last name,First name,Date of birth etc...and said the application is recieved and the UCI number is xxxxxxxx...They will not give you UCI number unless you say ...atleast give me some reference how can I track my application please..And do remember Please make a huge difference...I got 4 times and it worked only once,,,Best of luck to you

Oh, I had received an email from CIO 4.5 hours ago and I assumed that it was an automatic acknowledgment as my resent email to them today got sent multiple times due to network or email server error.

I just opened the multiple acknowledgments and one of them was a reply to my email dated 25th June, when I sent them the tracking number of my initial application. The email says that the application has been received, its currently awaiting initial processing and that a notification will be sent in due course. They also mentioned a UCI number after Dear Sir/Madam.

I did check the online services and cannot login using my details. Probably cause they said in the email that the initial processing is not yet done. How did I get a UCI assigned in that case?

Staying hopeful. Thanks for the support and reading my posts.

I received my UCI number today from CIO. Alhumdullilah.

That is a BIG relief. Best of luck to all those still in waiting line.

They operate FIFO.

I do understand but do CIC follows FIFO method alongwith timestamp too. That is application received on the same date but which was received prior would be taken into process first ?

Will it be the way....???

Further, I am worried because I called CIC call center but all efforts were in vain

Did Anyone from USA( East Coast) area try the number? My application was received on 17th May, so I am really tensed now. Every time I try the number 6139444000, I get a automated message 'this service is not available from your area.' Also tried calling from Skype.
Can anybody please suggest?

yes i called them but from mobile voip and went through
though they said they dont have any information on my file yet
