Hope someone can help...

I applied for the FSTP through EE but when I checked my application's status page it showed that I did not meet the requirements to be confined for the FSTP.

  • I'm a Baker (noc 6332)
  • Sufficient funds for a fam of 1 (above the requirement)
  • two years (back-to-back) f/t relevant work experience in Canada within the last 5 years
  • I got "on-the-job" training during my two years f/t paid work as a baker [this seem to me the most likely issue*]
  • I have a f/t job offer for over 1 year.
  • My work experience and job offers are outside Quebec

I can only think of two possible issues:

1. the online EE system has made secondary school an absolute requirement rather than "usually required."
and/or
2. My two years of relevant work experience was not counted by the EE system. Because months, and not exact dates, are requested in relation to work history; my 2yrs plus two weeks may not be registering as two full years yet: the system may very well round up its months rather than rounding down and giving the applicant the benefit of the doubt.

I can't think of any other reason I would be accepted into the pool for consideration on the FSTP unless there's a quota for bakers and it has been met?? If anyone has any thoughts I'd appreciate it, thanks.
