I have been on the verge of ripping my hair out at the frustration it's taken on me trying to find the best route for me to eventually move to Canada. It's either work or study. Well for work, I don't have the experience, and for some reason, everyone is yelling at me that it's impossible for me to get a company to obtain a LMO to hire me for a low-end job in Canada.
Because of my low end experience (I had 2 year associate in a degree I no longer want to have as my future), my only other option is to go back to school, but I would want to do it in Canada. However, that's like twice as expensive! Even though the study permit may be easier to obtain, I think it would be even more difficult because of the cost just to be there for one year. I have been trying to save up money for the past 3 years working in a retail job and have only been able to save up $10,000. I'm just highly frustrated and depressed as to how long it would take for me to save up to go to school in Canada.
I fell in love with the city of Halifax years ago and I just want to be able to go back there, because I know it would better my life in the long run.
Is there anyone else out there in a similar situation as me? And if you were/are, what are you doing? What route are you taking to be able to financially be able to go to school in Canada?
Edit: I am from the United States.
