My wife and I are here from New Zealand with our two wee girls for the season and she has a work permit for her job as a pilot but with the season the way the weather is in the northern BC area where we are based we're going broke with no work.I've read on the imigration site that I can apply for a open work permit as a spouse.I'm a carpenter and there is work avaliable if I can get the permit.I'm filling the forms in now but they are quite confussing as the actual document doesn't mention the spouse work visa,can anyone here help me out,we're running out of time and funds.(we love it here and don't want to haft to go home)
