From Lebanon: How to make things faster

Hello,

I have two brothers who got married and their wives are in Lebanon.
One of the guys sponsored his wife a year and a month ago. We are still waiting for her visa to be issued. The last thing we heard from Beirut Embassy is to update the security check for his wife and we sent the 2 weeks ago.

The other guy sponsored his wife and the application has been processing for 2 month (in Beirut).

Now, the situation in Lebanon is dangerous and we are worried about the girls. We want them to come here asap. Is there a way to make things faster. For example, if we go to court and tell them what is happening in Lebanon, would that help?
If there are any suggestions I would really appreciate it.

Unfortunately there is no way to speed up the process. Going to court won't help.

The wives could try applying for TRVs to come to Canada as visitors while their applications are being processed. There is a good chance their TRV applications will be refused since CIC knows they have plans on remaining in Canada long term- but they can certainly try.
