Freelancer exp as work experience

Hello all,

I am applying for FSWP 2014 under Mechanical engineer. I have doubt regards the work experiences points calculation. I have 3.5+ years of experiences in working for another companies. Also, i have done freelancer work ( kind of business ) for one year. Can i include business experiences in work experiences category ?

You need to provide letters of recommendation from clients citing the work that you did for them, writing your own experience letter as freelancer will not suffice. Hope that helps.

Thank you for your message. I worked as a Freelancer through some freelancing websites. I have worked for many clients and got feedback for my profile. I don't have separate recommendation from any client. Please let me know if you have any idea to proceed.

I'm afraid that that's the best option that you have, to get letters of recommendation stating the work that you did for them, that should be on paper with their company letterhead with their info. Try to email these clients and explained what you are doing, they may be able to help you by giving these letters. Good luck!
