I'd like to share a free online resource with you: MOSAIC Online Pre-arrival Services for Women in Engineering Workshop. MOSAIC, a non-profit organization in Vancouver, is offering a FREE online course dedicated to helping prepare women to qualify and work as engineers in B.C. and Canada.
Time:2 weeks, March 9th, 2015 – March 23, 2015
Who:Internationally trained women engineers, currently outside of Canada, approved or in the process of immigrating to Canada
If you are a woman engineer, or you know of any women engineers please share with them this information.
Through this workshop, participants will learn about the engineering profession in Canada, the accreditation requirements, engineering workplace culture, and many information resources and organizations to aid your professional development as a woman engineer in Canada.You will be supported by a workshop facilitator and a team of women engineers in Vancouver as your advisory group.
