Freaking out about the order to submit forms

Guys, I’m trying to work out how best to order all of the forms.

Are they submitted as according to the checklist, one after the other with additional sheets of paper that you wrote separately in the relation to the for forms directly beneath them?

Do I have to leave an asterix (*) next to every question that I’m providing an extra sheet of evidence for?

Please advise!
Thanks

And also should I print out all of the forms and submit in order to the checklist even if I don’t need to fill them out?

For example: should I attach a Financial Evaluation (IMM 1283) even if it says directly underneath within the checklist “Note: If this does not apply to you, write N/A next to the checkbox” and then “Do not complete this form of you are a resident of Québec” just blank? (As the form doesn’t apply to me and we will live in Quebec)

I think it general it doesn't matter all that much, but for the record, I did:
  • Checklist
  • OWP Application (we're inland)
  • Barcode Pages
  • Payment Proof
  • Forms in order of checklist
  • Evidence/docs in order of checklist and I grouped together any additional docs where it seemed to make sense (so I put some additional info about income with the NOA etc)
We got AOR in the normal timeframe (about a month).
Just be sure that if you include anything extra or skip anything to just write on the checklist (like "See Note" or N/A) so they know to look for it or to expect it to be missing.
I don't think there is a canonical "right way" as everyone is going to be a little different, you just want to make it easy for the VO to review and to call out anything unusual (missing or extra info).

We did the same. Outland.

Checklist.
Barcodes.
Everything in order of checklist.
Additional information directly following it's corresponding forms.

We made a table of contents too which I think could be seen as overkill and is unrequired but it helped us stay organized and we saw someone else do it on the forum and copied them.

So Table of Contents:
Checklist
Barcodes
Form ***
Additional information for Form ***
Form ****
Additional information for Form ****
Etc.

We also copied someone else on the forum and wrote a cover page for the 20 photos (just listing the information on the backs of the photos, where and when they were taken). But again this isn’t required. We just wanted our application to be easy to read.

Thanks for all the info guys, it’s very reassuring!

Another question if anyone can still see this thread - do we refer to ourselves as Sponsor and Principle Applicant whilst talking about how we met etc.? Or can we use our first names?

We did something like “Name (sponsor) and name (applicant)” just once and then after that just used our first names after that.

I used just our names throughout.
