hi friends i am starting this thread for all those who need any kind of help in filling any Form available on cic.gc.ca. so that we all could help one another

I need your help

I am trying to apply online for TRV I filled up the IMM 5257 application the new one (04-2015) the problem is that when i tried to type my name in the last part (sign the document) i couldn't , the bar cods are there and everything is completed. I know that there is no need for electronic signature but instead typing the name will be enough. I used to do that in the previous version of the application but not in this one
Please I need your help what should i do?

Please print the entire application and sign and date the last page. This page contains bar codes that facilitates data entry of your applicaton.

If you are applying online, you do not need to sign your application form by hand. You will be asked to provide an electronic signature once you are ready to transmit your documents to CIC.

Does that mean that i still need to type my name live it blank ?

try writing the name first and then validating it
