Forms for spouse

Hello,

I am a convention refugee and still waiting for my PR. I added my wife shortly after I applied for the PR. They have asked my spouse to fill the forms IMM0008, IMM5669 and
IMM5406


some documents and I have some questions about them as the following:

1- Form IMM0008:
Which program my spouse has to choose (Family or refugee)?
Passport info in page for is it for my spouse or me?

2- Form IMM5669: Should my spouse choose the principal applicant or the spouse?

3- Form IMM5406: Again, who is the principal applicant?

Principle applicant will be you always but some of the forms like 0008 ,and family forms needs to file by yourself and your spouse . Two. .. if in doubt pls read your request letter again . I have also the same case my wife is always shown as principle applicant and myself shown as dependent after receiving all docs by Ircc

Thank you. But I contact the immigration and they said my spouse should be the principal applicant in these forms now, not me.

My wife is working in Toronto and she applied PR for us (Family). I am currently working in Saudi Arabia right now and Planning to Visit / Short Vacation only to Canada to get my PR.

1. Is it allowed for me to work in other country during the application of PR for her family?
2. How many months should I stay to get my PR?

Are you planning on relocating to Canada after you receive PR? You must meet the 730 out of 5 year requirement but if you don’t reunite with your spouse it could also raise concerns about the legitimacy of your relationship. If there are doubts that you are not still in a relationship and she sponsored you that could lead to losing your PR.

I will travel from Saudi Arabia Vaccinated status and my kids (17 & 18 years old) unvaccinated will travel from Philippines with the same date of arrival in Canada. is it possible for us to make the quarantine on the same isolation area.

Yes you can quarantine together, except your spouse who isn’t travelling, if you arrive the same day. If you arrive within 24 hours of each other should be fine as well. You will need to wait 14 days based on the last to arrive.
