Hi all,
I am working on my letter of explanation now. Few things will be mentioned on the letter, such as, the future plan of residing in Canada, the effective date of becoming a citizen...
Just wondering if there is a format we have to follow? I've read the checklist but it did not say...

In this letter, shall I include the current statement of my banking account and prove to them that I have enough money to support my spouse for the next 3 years?

Another question is, do I have to translate the educational certificates of my spouse's ?

Thank you

No. Just write it as a formal letter.

Sure why not. Include everything (within reason) that will help your case.

I don't recall IRCC ever asking for educational certificates for family sponsorship. Where did you find that they want the certificates?

I could be wrong on the certificate one. I believe reading it somewhere on the form asking for education history. That impression might have got me thinking that my wife needs to prove her educational certificates in english as well.

Yeah they ask about educational history. But no proof is required for that, it's just standard information they collect.
