Form says copy of pages in pasport containing passport no. ? That is every page!

re: copies of identity docs, the checklist IMM 5612 states:

"Show copies of passport pages showing: The passport number, date of issue and expiry, the photo, name, date and place of birth, pages any amendments to name,etc"

So.. My passport (and I would assume most, if not all passports) has the passport number in braille-like text on every single page of the entire passport...

Surely I am not supposed to copy every single page of the passport with the number on it? (especially since most pages are blank)

Wouldn't just the photo (identity) page, which has the number of the passport be enough? They can't possibly want an entire photocpied passport surely?

That would be the first few pages where the passport number is mentioned and has your name, photo, place of issue with the relevant dates , date of birth and if you are from India, the last page with you folks' name and endorsements if any. You don't need to copy all the pages.

Why ? They haven't asked for it. You need to document your travels, however in a separate form.

About the travel history... I have very extensive travel history 13+ years ago, but only limited for the last 10 years. So do I only need to show the travel history I have for the last 10 years? ie. back to 2003/4 ? and nothing before...?

Yes. I travel extensively on business, based in the UAE and had to attach three additional sheets. Created the same format in mS excel. The worst part was going through all the passport booklets and listing down dates based on immigration stamps. Once I did that, I now maintain a regular xls file and update it just after my return.

Visas of other countries will not make any difference in your application. Feel free to add if you would like to, but they don't need it.
