I´m filling the virtual application for my parents and completing the forms for the tourist visa. Do I need to complete the form imm5476e as a representative? I already have the tourist visa in a separate application some months ago.

Who needs to sign in section D.10 "signature of spouse or common-law partner for sponsorship application"?

Only if you are going to be their representative.

I appreciate your response. Kindly confirm if my definition of being a representative is ok....I´m completing all the forms online because of the language and technological complexity for them, I put my address as mailing address because they are currently selling their home to move to an appartment. They are providing me all the data and supporting documentation with my instruccionts. Does this make me their representative?

Yes it does and a 5476 for should be completed for each of them with them signing the first part of D.10, the signature of spouse or common-law partner for sponsorship application is not applicable in your case.
