Hi. I am renewing my Permanent Resident card and need help with the question about time spent outside of Canada. We live 45 minutes from the border and we go visit my friends and family once in a while. When we cross the border, they never stamp our passports so I have no idea of the dates I went to the US. We go maybe once every 2 months and spend about 4 days each time. I am not even close to the limit of time allowed outside of Canada but my issue is that I don't know the dates that I have been to the US as we go once in a while and they never stamp our passports. How do I answer the question on the form? It asks specifically for dates? Thank you for your help

I believe you can get a Freedom of Information Request from US CBP for your entry/exit dates. It generally takes about a month to receive it back.

Though, going forward, it's probably best to keep your own records. You'll need to account for your days in and out of Canada if you decide to apply for citizenship.
