Form: IMM5406 : Additional family information

Hi Friends,

I am a bit confused about form IMM5406 about Additional family information because on the top of the form it says, the principal applicant and their spouse must complete their own copy of the form:
Now I am trying to sponsor my wife to Canada. And I thought only she was supposed to complete this form not me, is that correct?
Or do I have to fill out this form as well?
And If I have to complete this form too then what would I write in the Applicant box, because she is the applicant and I am the spouse and if I fill out the same information as her then the form would be the same as to what she has completed.
So I am a bit confused now, please help me out here if you dealt with this sort of situation.

no, the sponsor does not fill out the form. the "spouse" being referred to is when a couple is being sponsored by a 3rd person. only your wife, the principle applicant fills it out. she must list you on the form.

What about the Spouses parents, sisters, brothers.
Do they have to fill out their own also.??

No. Only dependents that are included in the application must fill out this form.
