This may sound silly... It probably is... but then again, just want to make sure... :)

How many years of formal education do you have?

Does this mean including kindergarten?? Or just primary and so on??

Thanks!! :)

We didnt include kindergarten on ours. Just primary, secondary, etc...

We didn't include kindergarten as well. Start at grade 1 :)

A formal education includes elementary and high school, and post-secondary school (college, trades or technical school, or university).

Good luck

You have to count from elementary /primary to your final education

Thanks for the info, guys. :D

I put 14... which I think is right. Elementary, Middle, High & 2 years of college.

reallly? kindergarten and preparatory are not included in the counting?

When I think of K-8, I think of 8 years of school (though I realize it's 9). I've heard many people call it "12 years of schooling", not 13... though I doubt it matters too much, really, as our education isn't really what's being measured in the family class.

ok i will just include it, thanks

It does not include kindergarten, preschool, infant daycare, etc. Normally education takes 12 years (in the USA and Canada) till high school graduation, then 4 years for a Bachelor degree, then whatever it actually takes for you to get your Master's and PhD.
