well if you are bringing things to Canada you need to declare them on a B4, and if you fill it out before you get to the border it's much easier... so prepare it in advance... then you will get it stamped when you land as a PR, and anything on that list can be imported free of charge, no customs to pay... so that's quite important.

Thank you sweden, I got further question, things like? because I am just bringing my personal stuff like clothing, jewelry, shoes, important documents, my prescribed medicine and foods from here, will I have to declare those with its value?
