Forgot to write UCI # on envelope

Hi my wife and I applied for a PR visa and the visa office requested some photos and to resubmit a paper that we missed an answer on, we got everything they needed and we put it in an envelope, then sent it through DHL to the visa office but we forgot to put our application number on the envelop like they asked, our name and return address is on the shipping receipt plus all the documents have her name on it as well as her name and signature on the photos> Do you think there will be any problem with there not being a application number on the envelope as they requested? any opinions will be appreciated. thank you

Hello sammysosa, hard to say; however, I would not leave it to chance. One suggestion is to send a Case Specific Enquiry (CSE) e-mail to your visa office (VO) with a scanned copy of your courier receipt and the UCI number along with details explaining the situation.

Did you require a signature from the VO's end? If so, you will be able to access that electronically as well and you may want to include a scanned copy of that receipt showing the person's name in your CSE so you have proof that the package was received at their end. Blessings.
