Forgot to write a name on passport photos

Guys on the back of my photo for passport my guarantor signed but forgot to write my name! Picture is stamped by the studio is it gonna be an issue ?

Photo is signed by the guarantor and stamped by the studio


Did someone experienced this ? Application is already mailed

I would assume your application would be returned as incomplete. I’ve not been in this situation, but going by all the information on websites, this would probably be considered an incomplete application.

omg! same. I sent it off on Saturday but expecting that it will be returned no hopes. I posted the same question recently

I checked the application 10 times, got photocopies and signed by me and the guarantor. I mean I thought I did everything but something like this you're bound to miss sometimes. Ugh

Hi, did your passport application gets approved or sent back due to the missing applicant name? Please advise as I also forgot to write the name behind our photos. The photo studio stamp/date and Guarantor's sign are at the back of the photos.

Not to add fuel to the fire or hit on people who are already stressing but how can you miss that when surely you're double treble checking your forms and then how can you be so sure it's been missed if they've already been sent off?

Apologies as this sounds like and is I guess a negative post but come on....really??!

I hope you are aware that humans can make mistakes so it’s just that.No one wants to miss things intentionally but it was just a miss as simple as that.
I completely understand your frustration as you can’t believe how one can miss that.
I am sure you also have done some mistakes in your life and it’s absolutely normal.
so pls don’t judge if you see other people’s mistakes whether it’s simple or complex.

First off I wasn't trying to stoke up anything or be disrespectful, I'm well aware that as a humans we have made many and will continue to make many more mistakes, such is the nature of life.
However what baffles me is that surely, I mean surely you must've double...treble checked everything...? I'm not here to judge as many others have supported me on these forums so at no point am I judging...it's more bewilderment.
Anyway my comments aside I wish you all the best in getting your mistake rectified and hopefully it doesn't delay the arrival of your passport.

I really hope you don't get your WHOLE application returned because of this as this could cost you 3-5 months. Hopefully, the CIC are smart enough to just ask you to send photocopies of signed versions of the back of them.
