Forgot GC User key

I created the EE profile on 16th January 2015. My EE points is 343. After that I also registered in the JOB Bank somewhere in February or March (don't remember exactly). I was never having hope as the draws were always with higher points, but sometime in last week of March I received an email that "Your Application is updated". I checked curiously, but was not able to find any updates in my application. Then I came to know that everyone have received similar emails, but no significant update was found.

Since then, I lost interest, I never checked the EE profile for quite some time and yesterday again I received an email "Your application is updated". I was using an another laptop during March/April time frame which had the username/passwords stored in the browser, now I am not able to recollect the username (GC Key).

I came to Montreal in May 2015 to start my Masters and have account with Scotia and TD bank, both of which are supported GC Sign in partners. Should I create another EE profile? I found in the GIC website that an existing application can be linked, but however I tried and was not successful, any help in this regard would be great.

I believe my points are not going to change at this moment. May be some of the personal information might change like present address, current visa status (study permit), etc, which I believe does not make any significance from EE view point.

Please guide.

Pardon the bluntness but 343 is too low to get an ITA in the medium term so you can safely ignore your existing profile. As regards the messages, they seem to be part of some system glitch or are just being sent randomly.

Create a fresh EE profile if you want using the banking credentials and proceed with it.

Dear Asivad Anac,

Thanks for the guidance. I do believe that not in medium term, even in long term my chances are quiet less. I am not too bothered about the ITA as of now, my concern though was whether it is legal to have two profiles, do not want to take chances (fraud, duplicates etc).

However just curious to know, how do we know about ITA, is it only after we login with GC key or through the registered email.
