I have a question. I am planning to apply for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). I have one year of work experience in Canada (still working), and three years of work experience in India. Specifically, I worked from May 2018 to June 2019 in my first job (during my studies), and from July 2019 to August 2021 in my second job.
My concern is about the work experience I gained during the final year of my Master's program. When I applied for my first study permit, my immigration agent did not mention this experience. However, after coming to Canada, I applied for a study permit extension for my second year of study, and I did mention this work experience in that application. I also included it in my Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) application.
I researched this issue myself on YouTube, and Mark Holthe, an immigration lawyer, mentioned in one of his videos that work experience gained during studies outside of Canada can be claimed.
I was paid in Cash but I am in touch with my employer, they said they can write a reference letter and they will also verify if IRCC send them an email or call.
My question is, will the visa officer raise concerns about my first year of experience since it was not mentioned in my initial application, even though I included it in later applications?
