Foreign Work Experience

Hi Guys,

I think I've interpreted this right but just want to confirm - two issues.

First Question

I'm in the pool for CEC, I have 1.5 years of Skilled Experience in Canada (NOC B) and 2 further years of NOC C experience.

Can I claim 3 years total Canadian work experience? Or do all of the years need to be NOC B and above?

Second Question

For my Skill Transferability section, I have CLB 10 on all language requirements, for the 'Foreign Work Experience' I'm guessing that it needs to be skilled (NOC B and above?)

I have 2.5 years in NOC 0114/1221 and then 1.5 years in NOC 1223. Can I claim 3+ years foreign work experience? Or does the work experience all need to be in the NOC that I'm applying for CEC for?

CEC requirements:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/apply-who.asp

No, you can't claim NOC C experience, for EE (no matter which stream) only NOC 0, A & B counts.

I've inputted all of my details as above and the system has given me 56 points for Canadian Work experience.

One last question in regards to the skill transferability section.

I only need to list the roles that I wish to claim points for - yes or no?

I have the letters ready for my three years of experience ready but have listed a role prior to that. The company has closed so I'm thinking it will be easiest to remove it from my profile rather than have to explain that later on? Then just include it in my background information.

Yes. You can mention the role for which you are not claiming points in background information. No need of letter for that.
