Hey Guys !

I would like if someone has an answer to my questions to make the right decision,

I have got ITA under CEC and i'm about to submit my application ,

my concern is about my Reference letter from back home, I have been working for 3 years with the company before i came to Canada,

I have a reference letter from my Ex employer/ owner of the company ( he's my father's cousin and we share the same name of the company ),

The reference letter doesn't include the NOC & duties and responsibilities and how many hours i worked per week, because we don't mention that in my country,

The reference letter includes :

- The company's contact information
- Printed on the letterhead of the company
- My name & job title
- Registration number for salary declarations
- Beginning and ending date of employment
- Signature and Stamp of the Company

I have also another letter confirms days worked each month (26 days ) , my salary each month, and the annual total earning,

in the meantime i can't provide any other document from my Ex employer , the company is no longer exist since summer 2018 ,

* Note : I have used the reference letter we're talking about to prove my experience before to apply for my work permit from outside Canada and they did not ask me for the informations missing above,

My questions are :

( 1 ) Should i write a Letter Of Explanation and mention my hours worked a week / duties & responsibilities on it ? and then explain that i can't provide any other document because the business has shut down on 2018 ?

( 2 ) Do i need to mention my relationship with the owner since we share the same name of the company ?

( 3 ) Do you suggest to upload my reference letter without any explanation ?

please guys i would like to hear from you and have your advice

thank you

Duties and responsibilities is required because without it, how can IRCC verify that your experience is in line with the NOC you chose?

add an LOE to explain the situation, attach any emails/correspondences, evidence of company closure and if you can get supplementary documents like job offer which (I hope) will detail your duties and responsibilities, work hours and pay.

in case IRCC does not accept the documents and deduct points, check whether:
1) you still meet CEC eligibility - since this is foreign work experience, you still have your Canadian work experience, so your safe on this one.
2) recalculated score without the foreign work experience is still above cut off score of the round you were invited in. If still higher, you don’t have to worry then.

thank you so much for your reply,

without my foreign experience my score will still higher enough even if IRCC deduct points,
do i still have to attach a LOE for my foreign work experience ?

If you’re comfortable, you can remove your foreign work experience and move it to personal history. Put an LOE to explain the change in score (e.g., cannot obtain proper work reference letters).
