I'm helping my partner work on his Express Entry application, and we've reached a bit of a stand still in terms of his Foreign Work Experience.
The NOC code we are going for is 7205 - Contractors and supervisors, other construction trades, installers, repairers and servicers
He has a year Canadian experience in this role, and while he has over a year Foreign Work Experience in a supervisor role, it's for a grocery/news agency store. The exact duties were the same, but instead of contractors he was supervising store employees.
He thinks it will be fine as it's both supervisor roles, but I don't want to risk it. Does anybody have any advice on how to make the two work together? I cannot seem to find a NOC code that is standard supervisor that doesn't exclude retail and construction supervisor.
