Foreign lawyers applying for Canada PR

Hi everyone,

I am creating this thread for lawyers outside Canada who want to migrate to Canada on express entry. I am a lawyer from Sri Lanka and I look forward to apply for express entry soon.

Can anyone please tell me if I have worked under a senior lawyer for more than one year, can I get a service letter from that lawyer as proof of my wotk experience?

You can hardly find a lawyer here. It is either they are few or they have chosen not to identify themselves. I am a lawyer in Nigeria so we are colleagues.
As regards your question, obtaining a letter of service from your employer should be the least of the problems. Scoring very high in the ielts exam should be your paramount consideration.
