Hi Seniors,

Just a quick question I have6 - 6 months Indian experience in SAME NOC and with 3 days (Sat Sun Mon) gap.
I had disclosed it during my study permit as well as work permit.

Just curious can I disclose it now during my EE application and claim its points ?

- Was only concerned since its 6-6 months different org will that act negatively or doesnt matter (as its essentially continuous and pre disclosed)

Foreign work experience should be at least a full year before you can claim points, no additions.

Only Canadian work experience can be combined together to claim full time work experience.

When you get an ITA, declare the work experience under personal history.

But it is 1 year just 2 different companies even then ?

Cause as far as I know, 1 complete year in 1 company is for FSW criteria where as I fall under CEC

I’m not entirely sure, but reading though this, https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/federal-skilled-workers.html#skilled

Looks like you can as long as it’s the same NOC.

Wait for others.
Thanks for your inputs though. But as said before, I fall under CEC, as long as my NOC remains same for foreign experience as per the above article it no where mentions continuous for CEC. Again, I'd wait for others as well.

Thanks again :)

You can always try and input everything in your EE profile and see if foreign work experience points are awarded in the score breakdown. That’s the best way to get the answer, I think. You can still edit it afterwards, if you have not received an ITA.

I did and got the points for the same and also JUST qualify for CEC, means its not making me applicable for FSW. I guess that should be self-explanatory.
But just that its always better to use expert brains than try-testing in these matters, hence posted here.
