Foreign Experience - Personal Inquiry

Is anyone on forum who submitted PR application with Foreign experience and seen CIC do personal inquiry at work place for that work ??

I am little scared as my work experience was 5 years ago and I hardly manage to get Experience letter from my company I worked in my home country, now if CIC were to do personal Inquiry I am not sure how it's gonna go.

Please share your experience with CIC and their background check about foreign work experience.

Relax no need to worry,they never do inquiry,it is rare case if they are doubt they might do but even i had 10 years foreign work experienced and claim points,two of the certificates from my previous employer i didn't include,just i included pay stubs for proof and uploaded

that's good to hear, as most people I used to work with are gone. There is only my manager left who knows I worked there and I have given his contact information as part of my reference letter. Hopefully one call to him would be enough to cross check experience.

Reason I think they will double check is because I have never mentioned that experience as part of study permit or WP forms. I was also not going to mention in EE because it was really really hard to get Reference letter and took me almost year to get what I needed. So It might be a reason for them to check.

You are safe brother,nothing to be worried now,if they call also your manager are ready to tell about you......

A friend in the exact situation and is looking to mention his part of work experience under personal experience due to inability to get relevant documents.
