Hi Folks,
I have Canadian experience of 1 year which falls under category B with two different NOC codes (2283 and 6211). Also, I have foreign experience of 1 year which falls under category A NOC 2173. As I know NOC code should fall under one category while applying for PR. My question is, does my foreign experience count while applying even though it's category is different than the Canadian experience category.

Any inputs highly appreciated.
Thank you.

In general, your work experience can consist of multiple NOCs. The only time where you need to have work experience in a single NOC is when it comes to fulfilling the MEC for FSW, i.e. at least one year (or part-time equivalent) of continuous work experience in one NOC. Since you qualify for CEC, this does not apply to you.

In regards to CRS points, your work experience can be obtained in multiple NOCs and need not be continuous.

So yes, your foreign work experience will count.
Thank you dan_and, the information you shared is really helpful
