I got a pakistani marriage in pakistan 2 years ago but unfortunately we are divorced now. I'm planning on re marrying in pakistan again, but since I'm a Canadian citizen who got a foreign divorce, there are special requirements for my divorce to be recognized by the immigration officer:
"If a sponsor living in Canada got a divorce in Pakistan, include proof that either party of the divorce
lived in Pakistan for at least one year before the divorce, or
had a substantial connection to Pakistan, such as frequent visits, property ownership or active businesses there"
My ex wife has never once stepped foot in canada and still lives in Pakistan. But I'm not sure how to show this as proof as part of the foreign divorce requirements?
