Yes present manager as your company will have your records but the signing authority will be be the person who can sign. So your old manager is not with the company. You need updated reference letters which state the duties clearly, what package you were working, working hours duration etc.

Thanks for the reply Rocky.

As I said I don't think I can manage the reference letter from the current manager in previous company coz many things happened during my notice period. I've got below queries

1. Since I have all the doc's starting from appmnt letter to experience. Won't it serve the purpose?
2. If there is a chance, will it be ok if I get same letter from HR?
3. How many reference letters are required from the employers?

1. It is better to give what CHC is asking. If you cannot then give a logical reason to be exempted from such document evaluation.
2. HR can be fine.
3. 1 from each employer.
