I married my Russian wife in Dominican Republic... she translated and notoried our Spanish wedding certificate to Russian to legalize the wedding in her country then in English for the sponsorship... In Russia they like to put these little ribbons so they are all bind together copy of offficial Spanish to Russian to English... The notary did certify the true copy but from the Russian translation not the Spanish one.
So it might looks complicated for the officer Spanish to Russian then finally English
1 - I wonder if it would be ok or should I take the official Spanish one and go and translate and certify it in French here in Quebec?
2 - Also share your experience how did you guys do if you married abroad... did you register anything with Quebec govermnent or just having the wedding certificate in your hand translated and certified is enough to be recognize in Quebec (I heard we don't need but they should be someplace that knows about our marriage or that my status changed to married) ?
3 - I know Montreal Dominican Republic consulate can do the Spanish to French translation... I wonder if I should do it or I will waste money cause I already have my wife one (Spanish to Russian to English)
4- Should I call Quebec and Canada government for next year about the annual taxes? (Impôts)
