PMM I read the add "Work History Calculations" dated "07-12-2008". but in case I am a self-employed, can you advise me on how to prove my work experience in that period of time? as I wont be able to provide such letters with copmaniy names or logos, or references from anyone else. As I read, I understand that I must write a letter explaining that situation but I would like to know to which extent is that a "viable" or "doable" or "acceptable" issue for my country, Cuba.

In my case how woud they consider the validity of the time as self employed?

* I spend 2 years with an official company and 1 year as self employed, so, do I got 3 years experience (19 pts) ? or just 2 (17 pts) ?

Thanks for your time.

For your year of self employed you should get letters from customers stating what you did for them, invoices, to prove the work that you did, otherwise you won't get the points for that year.

Hello PMM,

I have a similar situation, I am a civil engineer, in my 10 years experience I have 5 as self employed, I work as a house developer, I had several clients, what I have are the contrects between them and me and notarized copies of the construction permits where my name is written there as the constructor. I have bank statements which can show all the deposits from my clients. Will it work?

Thanks
