Dear Friends

Can application for getting the file number(initial assessment) be sent to Canadian High Commission New Delhi for applicants from India, Nepal and Bhutan instead of sending it to Canada. I understand that after getting the file number it should be sent to Candian High Commission, New Delhi along with the supporting documents. However, I am confused about the initial stage. I also want to know What is the fees payable at this stage?. Is it indian equivalent of CAD 550 as in the website ?.Is it paybable for both princiapl applicant and spouse, that is CAD 550 each, total CAD 1100 ?

Regards

No, you have to send it to Sydney, Canada. Draft in favor of Receiver General for Canada amount 550 + 550 total 1100 CAD
