I am a resident of mumbai, India and had sent my PR application under Federal Skilled Worker class to Canadian High Commission, New Delhi.

I received a letter from the Canadian High Commission, New Delhi stating that Effective 1st April 2009 the application needs to be sent directly to CIO, Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada and not New Delhi.
Could any body please guide.

I suggest you start your reading at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp

PMM

Thanks for your reply PMM,
I agree with you on the information given in the link
cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp"

but as i see in the link
cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled-mission.asp"
its written "Check the list of countries and visa offices to find out where you must send your application."
Hence i was really confused.
Is it that first we need to send out application to the CIO in Nova Scotia and then the further processing would be co-ordinated with Canadian High Commission in New Delhi. ?

Yes first u need to send to NS, they do initial screening and provide file numbe...after that you need to send to CHC, ND with full documents for processing.
