For how long the visit visa is given?

Hello members,
As my wife is pregnent, we are intending to bring in our parents here in Toronto. I'm here with PR status.

Can anyone tell me for how long visa will be issued to them? I kno they can stay maximum for six months without any extension once they get in.

Once they are in. you can apply for extension. I came to know about other people, who keep on extending until two years. 8)
