Hello All

For anyone who has received COPR lately, can you please share how much time are they giving to finish landing?

I have heard it is usually 12 months from the medical test date but not sure if they are following that.

Your feedback would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

P.

Basically, you must land before your medical exam validity expires, that's mean 12 months from IRCC's office received your medical examination results.

Thank you for your feedback. And yes, that is what I have read and heard.

However, I was more interested to hear from someone who got COPR lately. Are they getting full time up till their medical expiry date or are they cutting it short. Just wanted to confirm.

Thanks again.

Why would they cut it short? It's been the regulation since forever. Also your question depends on two factors! Is the applicant from a visa exempt country? If yes then the same rule applies. Is the applicant not from a visa exempt country? Then they will issue a visa on his/her passport which clearly states and indicates the expiry date for landing.

Best of luck,

Mine was landed around six months ago, validity of immigrant visa exactly 1 year from the time my medical examination was completed

Let's see other members comments who has landed lately.:)

Hi! In my case, my COPR was issued on April 6, 2016 and it was valid till 12 Feb 2017.

Generally it is linked to medicals and passport expiry.

Got my copr 3 days back. Yes its one year from your medical.
