Has anyone got their 600 points successfully from their PNP?

I doubt many people are able to get their provincial nominations validated by their respective provinces since provinces are still trying to figure out how to sync their nomination programs with EE. I was likewise unable to get Ontario PNP office to validate my nomination but I've emailed CIC with my case to try my luck.

Check this out:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/apply-how.asp

"Your certificate will show which stream you were nominated under. This will tell you if you should apply under Express Entry or the regular application process.

Applying through Express Entry – If you were nominated under an Express Entry stream, your first step to apply is the Come to Canada tool, if you are not already in the Express Entry pool.
OR

Applying through the regular application process – if you were nominated under a regular PNP stream, you should apply using the regular application process.
If you apply through Express Entry, find out how it works."

I'm curious: If you guys already have provincial nomination, why not apply for federal PR the old way? Or you are already doing that, and applying through EE now is just a backup in case the other application goes wrong?

For my case I have applied for PR via the PNP route but it has been taking forever (AOR in Apr 2014 and so far "Medical Received" is the latest update). I already meet the CEC criteria at this point so why not throw in an EE application in which if I were selected, I would likely get PR earlier than waiting for the PNP PR to happen.

my VO has 19 months timeline for PNP and it's not rare for them to exceed that timeline! recently some nominees waited for more than 19 months just for medical requests!!
so, when you think about it, it's highly unfair to us, whose certificates are still valid (obtained recently) to block us form EE just because they were issued before January!
just imagine, all those people with valid LMOs/LMIAs.. would it be fair not to give them 600 points just because those LMIAs were issued before 2015?

real question here is - is the limit of 500 candidates per province final, or is it a number of candidates provinces will pick out directly from the pool of candidates...
if it's final, than okay, everything's clear.. but if its not, if all province nominees who obtain nomination in 2015 and are eligible for EE in one of the 3 categories will be able to apply for EE, then it's really, really unfair to us, I repeat, with valid nominations!!!

we'll see.. couple of us sent question about this to cic, I believe we'll get some response in following days...

Wow 19months. That's longer than I though by quite a bit. In that case, yeah you guys should go for EE if you can.
