I mentioned my file no name & DOB but i dun know why they told me

LOL.. dude its nothing... CIC as being the lazy bums i guess they forgot to write "NOTE or PS" in front of the line...

That line is just a note that they dont reply to emails without file no., date or applicant name...

So chill & u applied under general category ?? & where r u heading for ?? which university/college ??

well i took admission in London School of Business & Finance in Toronto for ACCA and my classes will be commence from 28 feb what abt u?

i don't know if spp, general & university thing is in ur country or not but here in India it is... if u apply under general category it will take around 2 months for visa processing & if u apply under spp it will take 15 to 20 working days & that sux big time... :/

Well i am going to film school in Vancouver. Applied on 4th jan still waiting for medical call.. :/

What is SPP & General Category will you plz explain

SPP = Students Partner Program. Under SPP program there are certain colleges & if u going to those colleges only then you can apply under SPP. If you apply under SPP you need to show the 80% of bank loan, u have to get 6.0 bands in EILETS/TOEFL, & etc. You can submit anyother documents other then in the checklist or your application will be treated as general. Processing time of applications under SPP is 15 to 20 working days if you give the documents according to the checklist & with medical exam. { http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/visas/StudentPartnersProgram_ProgrammePartenairesEtudiants-Nov09.aspx }

General = If you are not going in any university & your college is not under SPP then you hae to apply under General. In general you can give any document. If you need to give SOP then you have to apply under general category. General application take 2 months for processing.
