follow ups ?

Hi guys,

I was just wondering if anyone does any follow ups on you once you have been in the country for a bit as a PR.
I have an arranged job waiting but I'm concerned , what if I don't like it or find something better, do I have to stay with them or is it the case that once you're given the PR card you can pretty much do anything you like without having people keep tabs on you ?
In theory once you're in do you even have to work for the company in question ? or could you not even show up and still remain admissible in Canada

Any advice appreciated.

As far as I know, once you are a PR, you are free to do whatever you want to do in terms of job.
However, say you apply for CSQ and land in Quebec and then move to another part of Canada immediately, I wonder if they will look at that when you renew your PR or apply for citizenship.
