Flying within canada

Wondering if I'm able to fly within Canada whilst I am waiting to hear about my restoration of status also am I able to fly just on a Canada Id card.

Hey! I am not sure about the restoration of status part of your question, but I recently flew from Toronto to BC and back and they only asked for my driver's licence (not even my PR card). Hope this helps?

I've flown around Canada just fine on my driving license. As long as it's a NA license (US or Canada) it's fine, if it's a foreign one you'll normally need your passport. An official government photo card (issued if you don't drive) is also fine, other forms of photo ID (OHIP etc..) you could run into issues - that is, I've seen reports of it happening.
