Hi am Gagan , I have got LOA from durham College my classes starts on Sep 3 2014. I am paid tution fees today and will ay GIC by tom. And am planning to book flight from Bangalore to toronto on Aug 10th or 15th..! is it fine if i book it now itself ?? or should i wait for visa???

Yes i bought them last month for 62k. No pt buying them right away , if your visa doesnt come through you end up paying more for cancellation.

And now tickets are more then 62 k.
So even if v are buying it in advance we would had saved around 10k

Try booking in Yatra .com Jet airways or This'd less than 60 k average price 55k...!

The cheapest is still 49k , korean and swiss airways. Lufthansa jet and cathay never fall below55-57 mark. Its always the less premium flight which will have the cheapest fares. The reason they are cheap is not more than 1 , 23 luggage, multiple stoppages ,15+ hours layover, very basic inflight food and services. You get what you pay for. For such a long flight duration such incoveniences are not worth in IMHO. Fyi geberally cheap fares are non refundable or with 8k+ cancellation charges.
