Flight options for indian students for Fall Sem

Hello,
I've been reading up most of the threads here. Just had a few questions,
Has anyone travelled from any airline except Air India ? I recently got to know about Lufthansa repatriation flights and confirmed from a known agent that says 2 students successfully travelled through this airline. Any views on this ?
What are other feasible options ?
Those who have reached successfully, was anyone with a support letter saying that though the semester is online, it is recommended to come to Canada due to bandwidth / time difference ?

Yes please. I would also really like to know the answer to this. If a support letter is saying "Classes are online. But recommended to come to Canada due to internet issues / time zone difference", is such a support letter enough to board Air India?
