Flagpoling Entry Denied

Hello

I am currently in Canada on a single entry visa. I have an LMIA and intend to go flagpoling at border to covert to work permit status. I have read conflicting information and wanted to understand will I have problems getting admitted back to Canada because of single entry Visa. The only official article I could locate was below

This article states that I can be admitted back even if u have a single entry Visa because I am technically coming to US border only to flagpol.
