Hello.
Today, I received a letter from IRCC asking me to pay my first year tuition. I had already paid my first semester's tuition before I submitted my request for a visa.
also, the letter asks for proof of funds: please provide evidence of funds which are completely available, transferable and unencumbered by debt or other obligations. Evidence of account activity showing 6 months of deposit and withdrawal history must also be submitted.
any suggestions? should I just pay the tuition for second semester and gather all the money I have and get that 6 months history? Do I need proof for where the money came from? I had previously put around 30k in my account when I submitted the applicaition. I'm a bit confused can you help me?
P.S. Does this mean that I am close to getting a visa? is this a positive request or was there a problem?

if you applied in sds, may be they will just need the fee receipts and gic letter
and yes, you should also pay the second semester's fee
if non-sds, you should attach the other financial documents too

It was non sds and they asked for money only. It has been mentioned that assets are not accepted at this level. I do have some cash too. around 6k USD and I cannot deposit them to my bank account. Any suggestions?

Show some liquid cash which is and will be available once you are in canada. If you have a sponsor like ur parent or guardian or anyone else show his account history for past six months who will sponsor your fee or anything. If they have requested you to pay the fee and you have paid the fee for only 1st semester then pay for the second and show them they you had paid fee for both semesters (for your whole study year).
